A place where the rice culture of Sueca and its local gastronomy merge with its local architecture to create a place full of life.

The rice mill is located in Sueca, a town 30km from Valencia. It's an industrial building built in the 19th Century.

The aim of the project is to intervene in the rice mill to create a public space available for the population of Sueca, as well as tourists.

The most interesting pre-existing buildings have been mantained and restorated and new solutions have been given to the problematic areas.

The relationship between the water from the ditch, the exterior walls, the vegetation and the volumes create a series of interior and exterior paths full of activities that connect everything with its environment.
